SALES POLICY: My rabbitry is a loved hobby. I am not "in business" to sell rabbits but instead to share the love of these furry friends. I only hope to recoup some of the time, effort and money it takes to maintain a healthy, happy herd. Bunnies are hand raised from the day they are born and very tame/friendly. I feed a high quality feed with plenty of hay and treats which can get expensive but I feel it gives the babies a better start in life so they are healthy and happy. Many of my babies come from ARBA registered grand champions. Please do not ask me to lower the price of my bunnies. I feel these are fair and reasonable fees for healthy bunnies. I am however, willing to offer discounts for multiple purchases. Generally I discount $5 per each pair purchased. Prices are based on my opinion and are subject to change at my discretion. Rare colors may be at a higher price. All my rabbits are purebred and so you will receive a pedigree with your bunny unless otherwise noted. I also reserve the right to refuse the sale at my discretion. One of the perks I offer is when you buy a bunny from me you get "me" which means at any time you have questions or concerns, I am just an email or phone call away.
REFUND POLICY/ ALL SALES FINAL: I will do my best to insure all bunnies are healthy and represented honestly. Because I do not know the environment bunnies are in after they leave my rabbitry I cannot refund purchase price after you pickup your rabbit. I encourage you to spend the time to look over your new bunny to make sure they are what you want and are healthy and viable. If you are not satisfied with the way a bunny looks or acts or decide not to accept him/her and terminate the sale, that is perfectly okay. I do not sell bunnies until they are fully weaned, eating rabbit pellets / hay and I am confident they can survive on their own. It is your responsibility to watch your bunny closely during the first 48 hours. If you feel your bunny is not adjusting, feel free to call me at 865-335-8573 with any questions or concerns. I will be happy to help you. If at any time. you decide you do not want your bunny I can take him/her back with no questions asked but I cannot refund the purchase price. Please do not release your bunny into the wild as they cannot survive on their own and please do not take them to shelters.
SHIPPING/TRANSPORT: I do not ship bunnies. You can pick up your bunny at my rabbitry or I will meet you somewhere close for an additional fee to cover my gas expense. We are located approximately 17 miles Northeast of downtown Knoxville, TN. PLEASE do not expect to transport bunnies in the trunk of a car or on a motorcycle. They are living breathing animals and subject to heat exhaustion or stroke and stress. I will not hesitate to terminate the sale if proper transportation for the bunny is not available.
TERMS: Money/bunny exchange is defined as full payment. Cash only. I do not take checks or credit cards. Please be prepared to pay for bunny at time of sale with exact change as I usually don't have cash on me. I usually have boxes available to transport your bunny home. If you prefer to transport in a cage, please bring that with you.
SOLD PENDING PICK UP / DELIVERY/HOLD: There will be times when I arrange a delivery/pickup with a buyer. This bunny will have the *sale pending or Hold in it's description on the for sale page. If for some reason the sale falls through, he/she will be available again.. Housing Fees - Due to limited cage space and increased feed cost, there will be a $5 per rabbit per week fee for any rabbit held longer than 2 weeks (14 days) past the weaning date or deposit received date.
DEPOSITS: I will, accept a 50% deposit on bunnies who are not old enough to leave Mom yet or pending pickup /delivery. *Deposits will only be refunded if bunny dies (this does happen sometimes for unknown reasons - these bunnies are called ~faders~) or I change my mind. Deposits are non refundable unless I terminate the sale.
OTHER ANIMALS FOR SALE: The above sales policy /terms apply for any animal sold by Whispering Pines Farm & Rabbitry.
I reserve the right to change Policy or Prices at any time.
I reserve the right to keep any rabbit in my rabbitry and cancel the sale (returning and deposits given)
